Our Tour Comes to an End….

26 May 2012

All Good Things Must Come to an End….

Here is our motley crew in Mile City, Montana.   It’s the last day of our two-month Spring Tour, the morning of May 23, 2012.

We began the tour on April 12, and the fact that we are still smiling is a testament to good planning and good manners.  These fine musicians are as good as it gets; each one talented for sure, but they also get high marks for being excellent human beings.   Let’s face it, when you are crammed into a van full of gear traveling on bumpy roads, you are feeling less like a musician and more like a punching bag every mile you travel!

Thank you Gene, Tom, Diane and Marty, you are the best!

Anne – Great to hear you survived. When I saw the schedule I thought “That’s torturous.” So it’s great to see you have some time off, as well as time at home.
I’ll see you in Aspen, it looks like…

George Schumer died unexpectedly from a heart attack very shortly after he posted this nice note. Our condolences to George’s family…he was a wonderfully kind and gentle spirit. He loved John Denver and his music, and did a great deal to preserve and continue John’s legacy. RIP George.
